And as with all health issues, the best way to get potassium in your diet is to eat a lot.
The American Heart Association recommends that people eat 1,000 to 1,200 milligrams of potassium per day.
But some studies have found that even eating 1,500 milligrammes is not enough to keep people from becoming dehydrated.
